Ana's Apartment Ministry

Ana runs the ministry out of an apartment that the complex owner has donated to the ministry.  There are about 40 children who are served.  They range in age from 4 – 14.  Ana, or Maestra (teacher) as they call her, pours her heart out to these kids to show them that there is a better way of life. 

The families in the apartments are almost all Hispanic day laborers, and the kids sadly end up dropping out of school and entering into the same poverty cycle.  Ana, her husband, and their 2 daughters, Maria (16) and Isabella (14), tutor and teach the children how to be successful students and give them hope of making it through high school and even college.

She always needs more help ! 

Just drop on by to be a blessing to these kids.

Directions:  Apartments are off 75 at the White Ave. exit (between the Virginia and 380 exits) in McKinney.  Go East on White Ave.  and take a right at the first light, Redbud.  Once on Redbud the apartments are immediately on the left.  Park near the mailboxes.  Go around the right side of the building (closest to Redbud).  Take your 1st left to the middle of the apartments and it’s the 1st apartment on the left.  You will see kids through the window and going in and out of the apartment.
