Preteens Advancing Christ's Kingdom

The 5th & 6th grade students attend the Preteen Ministry called PACK in their new classroom called the "Back Alley." PACK is designed to meet the unique needs of preteens while discipling them for a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. Gayle Joss, The Corners Preteen Minister, helps the children apply God's Word to their lives, develop strong leadership skills and builds self-confidence for the many pressures that preteens face today.

Sunday morning 9:00AM service:

At this time our kids experience an up-beat, fun, and interactive Sunday School class. They will enjoy a time of playing games, an exciting lesson, crafts, etc. During this service, the children are divided into the following groups:

5th and 6th grade girls only
5th and 6th grade boys only

Sunday morning 10:45AM service:

During this service, the 5th and 6th grade join together for a time of corporate worship. A Bible story is taught, interactive games and activities are played to help apply the lesson, multi-media is used to reinforce the point, and the children are led into an incredible time of age-appropriate praise and worship.

Wednesday night 7:00PM service:

This is a time of very high energy, high learning and high fun for the kids! The children are led into a special time of praise and worship, application-based Bible lesson, Bible memory verse time and interactive small group discussions.

Activities

We offer social activities for the children and parents approximately every month outside of the class times. These are highly advertised and are a great way for the children to build relationships among each other and for the parents to connect as well.

All workers in the department are verified through a national background check.
